Cookie Notice
Updated 31 July 2026. This notice explains what cookies and similar browser storage we use on rentsa.fi and how you can manage them.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit the website. Similar technologies include the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage. They allow the site to remember your choices, for example, and to function reliably.
Necessary cookies are always set because the service does not work without them. For all others, we ask for your consent in advance, in accordance with the electronic communications privacy rules (the ePrivacy Directive) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
2.Cookie categories and purposes
Analytics, marketing, and functional cookies are switched off by default. None of them are loaded until you give your consent.
- Necessary: The site does not work without these. Used, for example, to keep track of the booking flow, for security, and to remember your cookie choices.
- Analytics: Helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve the service. Data is collected in aggregate form.
- Marketing: Used to target advertising and measure its effectiveness.
- Functional cookies: Enable extra features such as embedded maps, chat support, and content personalisation.
3.Cookies in use
We do not list cookies that are not actually set. When we introduce a new service, we update this table before the service is put into use.

4.Retention periods
Cookie-specific retention periods are shown in the table above. Your cookie consent is valid for **6 months**, after which we will ask for it again. Consent is also requested again if the content of this notice or the services used change materially.
5.How to change your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. The change takes effect immediately, and cookies from a withdrawn category are deleted.
The same button can always be found at the bottom of the page. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings — note that blocking necessary cookies may break the booking function.
